Brush Clearing and Trimming
We can selectively remove brush from your property or project no matter what the size shape or condition. 


Pile Burning
We have over 18 years of experience with fire suppression and prescribed fire application. We maintain our training annually to the standards set by NWCG. 


Chipping Services 
We have 3 remote controlled tracked chippers that can chip up to an 18" tree. We also have 2 pull behind chippers available. 

Need to move wood? 
We are able to move wood with our Metavic Grapple Trailer.

Project Layout Services​
Timber Harvest Plans, Non-Industrial Timber Management Plans,
3 Acre Conversions, 150' exemptions. 
No plan is to large or to small for us to recon, flag, mark or blaze.
  
Project Supervision 
Do you have landscapers, Licensed Timber Operators, or arborists working on your property? 
In the State of California it is Illegal for entities to operate without supervision from a Licensed Registered Professional Forester to recommend or prescribe fuels reduction or thinning projects greater than 3 acres in size.

Collaboration Meetings
BWFS collaborates with many different agencies, NGO's and private landowners. Let us provide you with professional natural resource advise and planning at your next board meeting. 

Fire Modeling 
We can provide FlamMap, Behave, Farsite and Forest Vegetation Simulator modeling to any project.
Proper forest management and fire planning involves understanding each modeling programs strengths and weaknesses.

Community Wildfire Protection Planning
BWFS has commented and assisted on CWPP creation on a limited basis. We have background and experience with community fire planning through the National Firewise Program and assist communities with wildfire prevention planning. 


Geographic Information Systems Mapping & Analysis
We operate a full ArcGIS 9.3 platform. We can providing mapping assistance on projects. Our mobile mapping capabilities will be fully realized this year as we gear up with new technology investments.

Environmental Compliance (CEQA)
We can assist with your environmental planning documents.
Threatened and endangered species, Migratory Birds, Rare Plants, and Archaeological Surveys can be acomplished in house or out depending on the needs of the client.
